So, here we are in Goa, united.

Andrew has finally arrived and the fellowship has evolved into a series of discussions, debates and ideas around the teak table here on front verandah at People Tree, Goa.

Rediscovering History

Over the last few days in Madhya Pradesh, I have been extremely obsessed in capturing Indian culture, colours and history to create different unique worlds inside our game. We went to Sanchi Stupa. It was fascinating to see the architecture of the place. It was an excellent blend of Roman and Kushan (Buddhist) architecture. Every design was a fusion (Indian+Roman). I have compared the one of the structures in Sanchi to that in Edinburgh (at the site, where they tried to create Athens). Excellent!! Isn’t it?

In Bhopal, we went to see an ‘open air museum of history of mankind- india specific’ called “Manav Sangrahalaya”. We just couldn’t get enough of that place. So many different kinds of art and stories. How many different worlds can we create in this game? Will urban youth today appreciate traditional indian art? If we achieve our goal of the game with all these kinds of authentic Indian art, I would personally consider it as a door to reconstructing India, as this would directly show the youth’s sense of pride in indian culture as well as an open mind in accepting the challenge to be in a world very different to the one explored so far. But, it is a HUGE challenge for us all. :-)
